You must have the View People capability to view the People tab. The People tab displays the people that are returned in your results after you perform a search on the Search page. (To view the items that are returned in your search results, click the Items tab.)
Note: You must select the Show results in Enhanced Mode option on the Tagging Engine Preferences page to view the People tab in Enhanced Mode.
Common Actions
You must have the View Tags capability to view tags. Click a tag to view the people that the tag is applied to.
Click to view the search results as an RSS
feed. Copy the URL of the RSS
feed into any RSS
reader that supports basic authentication. Enter your portal user name
and password when prompted for basic authentication information.
Create a more complex search query using Tagging Engine Search Syntax.
In the search results, click the name of a person to view their user profile.
Click in
the row of a person to view its summary, the tags that are applied to
it, and access its properties. You can also click
in the
table header to view these details for all people. (After you click this
button, it changes to the
position. When the button is
in the
position, only the top five tags applied to the person
are visible.)
Click any of the column headings (except Contacts and Tags) to sort the people in your search results.
Drill down within the search results to further narrow your search.

You must have the Add Tags capability to apply tags. Launch the Tagging Engine - <name of person> dialog box, which lets you apply tags to and remove tags from the person. You can only remove tags that you have applied. |

You must have the Add Favorites and Contacts capability to add contacts. Add the person to your Contacts list. Tip: To view all of your Contacts, choose the Favorites & Contacts view, then perform a search with a blank search query. Note: Contacts are unrelated to tags. Adding people to your Contacts list has no impact on the tags that are applied to those people. |

Remove the person from your Contacts list.
