This topic discusses how to use the People page to specify the user properties that are displayed in the search results of the People tab and Tagging Engine People portlet.
User Properties to Display
Click Add/Remove User Properties to launch the Choose Properties dialog box, which lets you choose the user properties that you want to be displayed.
Note: See Oracle WebCenter Interaction documentation for instructions on how to change the user properties that are available in the Choose Properties dialog box. You must configure properties as searchable in their respective property editors.
Click Save to keep any changes that you have made and apply your changes immediately. If you have made changes but have not yet clicked Save, you can click Cancel to restore the previously-saved settings.
Following is a description of each column in the table:
Column |
Description |
Property |
Displays the portal user properties that are currently displayed in the search results. Note: You cannot remove the Name user property. |
Hyperlink |
Displays whether or not the user property's display name appears as a hyperlink. (To change whether a user property is visible as a hyperlink or not, navigate to the property's Main Settings page in portal Administration, select Treat this property like an URL, and click Finish.) |
Image |
Select to display the property as an image. The value for this property must contain a valid image URL that is accessible by the user viewing the Tagging Engine result set. Note: When this option is cleared, the Tagging Engine displays the text of the property instead of its image. For example, the Tagging Engine displays the actual URL ending with .jpg instead of the image that exists at that URL. |
Display Name |
Type an alias name that you would like to assign to the portal user property. This alias appears in the search results instead of the original portal user property name. |
Order
