Max File Size

You can limit the size of files that can be imported through this content source. In the Maximum file size box, type the number, in bytes, of the largest file you want to allow to be imported from this content source. Files over this size will be ignored during crawls or will display an error if a user tries to submit them.

1. Click Administration.
2. Open the Remote Content Source Editor:
• To create a new remote content source:
1. Open an administrative folder.
2. In the Create Object menu, click Content Source - Remote.
3. In the Choose Web Service dialog box, select the appropriate Web service and click OK.
• To edit an existing remote content source:
1. Navigate to the remote content source you want to edit.
2. Click the remote content source name.
3. On the left, under Edit Object Settings, click Max File Size.
