The Submit Content link allows you to submit documents and Web pages to the Knowledge Directory, as well as import a bookmarks file exported from your browser or saved from del.icio.us.

Import Bookmarks
The Submit a Document tab allows you to submit documents and Web pages to the Knowledge Directory. Submitted documents and Web pages are searchable in the Tagging Engine, in addition to the portal in general. During the submission process you can add names, descriptions, and tags, all of which are searchable in the portal.
To submit a document or Web page:
Select the Submit a Document tab.
Perform one of the following:
If you want to submit a Web page, select World Wide Web.
If you want to submit a document from your computer, select My Computer. This option is only available if your administrator has enabled this feature. This option is only available if you have configured a Content Upload content source using Configuration Manager.
Click Choose a Portal Folder to launch the Choose a Portal Folder dialog box.
Navigate to and select
the Knowledge Directory folder into which you want to submit the document
or Web page, then click OK.
You are returned to the Submit page.
Perform one of the following:
If you chose to submit a Web page, type the Web page's URL into the Location box.
If you chose to submit a document from your computer, click Browse to launch the File Upload dialog box. Navigate to and choose the document that you want to submit.

In the Name box, type the name that you want to be searchable in the portal.
If you do not type a document name, the Tagging Engine will create
a document name for you.
(optional) In the Description box, type the description that you want to be searchable in the portal.
(optional) In the Tags box, type the names of the tags that you want to apply to the document or Web page, delimited by commas.
Note:
Do not use quotation marks (") when creating tags with multiple words.
Correct example: environment, North America, conservation, Juanita
Jackson, water quality
Incorrect example: environment, "North America", conservation,
"Juanita Jackson", "water quality"
Click Submit.
The Import Bookmarks tab allows you to upload a bookmarks file exported from your browser or saved from del.icio.us. A new document is created in the Knowledge Directory for each bookmark in the file. Documents created from bookmarks will contain tags for the bookmark title as well as tags for each folder containing the bookmark.
To import bookmarks:
Select the Import Bookmarks tab.
Click Choose a Portal Folder to launch the Choose a Portal Folder dialog box.
Navigate to and select the Knowledge Directory folder into which you want to submit the bookmarks, then click OK.
You are returned to the Submit page.
Click Browse to locate the bookmarks file you want to submit.
Click Submit.
A progress box appears. The results of the import are displayed when
the import has completed.
Click Close to close the progress box.
